Experience
Tutoring experience: --While at Christopher Newport University, I worked in and directed the University writing center. In that work, I tutored students in all aspects of composition, structure, grammar, ways of critical thinking and reading, all parts of the writing process, and helped with proofreading skills. In addition, I also led student classes on writing and reading effectively. --While a graduate student at Wake Forest University, I worked in its Writing Center as a peer tutor. Like my work at Christopher Newport University, I tutored students in all aspects of composition, structure, grammar, and ways of critical thinking and reading. Additionally, I helped guide students with less writing experience about ways to generate ideas, rewrite, and revise their work.
